The Likeness: A Novel By Tana French

A very interesting story of a double using a false name created as part of an investigation. Detective Cassie Maddox takes over the role again to investigate her death and finds a strange life that is very different to her usual life. It’s an interesting story but it did take ages to get started and while the setup was actually important it might have been better with a bit of editing to get to the meat. The characters did come to life for me and I could see people I met in college in the stories I also understood the impulse of sharing the space with other people of a like mind.
